Officials report 383 students supported through KYR efforts, 90 individuals screened under expanded DOE scope with 50 receiving legal services in Q2-Q3, and 137 screenings through the main RLC contract. Lee notes the numbers seem low; Ali explains turnout challenges for events.
And in the rapid response legal collaborative, you've talked a little bit about that.
How many, can you tell me how many people have been served through the work for fiscal 2026 thus far?

So through 20, this year to date, I can tell you that on some of the KYR efforts that we've done, there have been 383 students supported, grades nine through 10.
In quarter two and quarter three of FY26, the collaborative screened about 90 individuals under the expanded DOE scope and provided legal services to 50 of them.
And I'm going to circle back on the other bucket because there's two buckets of work that I just want to have in front of me.
The one that I walked you through is connected to the rapid response to your collaborative in schools.
Yeah, it seems pretty low the numbers and maybe I just in skewing.
So can you talk about maybe what have you heard are some of the biggest challenges in supporting our students at that level?
Yeah, I think one of the biggest challenges right now is turnout for virtual and those in-person events.
We're working really closely with our partners to look into how do we turn out for some of those future events?
What does outreach look like?
How can we better ensure that individuals are receiving access to the information that they need?
Yeah, we've struggled with that, with the know your rights as well, so that rings very true.
