Chairs Lee and Stevens thank staff and announce public testimony date
Lee and Stevens thank their respective staff and the Council Finance Division. They remind attendees that public testimony will be held Wednesday, June 10th at 9:30 AM, and that nonprofit partners are welcome to attend and listen.
Before we get started, I would like to take a quick moment to thank both my staff and the entire council fiscal division for their efforts in preparing for this hearing.

Before we get started, just wanted to take a moment to thank the entire Council Finance Team and Division for preparing today's hearing, especially Julia Haramis and Margaret Barnsley
for today's hearing, and of course, Brian Sarfo and all the finance analysts and support staff who make it all work.
And just as a reminder, for this year's executive budget hearings, because we're on a tighter timeline than we normally are, we're going to be doing all of the public testimony on Wednesday, June 10th, beginning at 9.30.
And I see some of our partners here from our nonprofits that are here with us, which I'm glad, actually, because I think it's always important to be in the room and listen to the feedback.
And then also, hopefully, it'll help inform the questions you do have when we hopefully will see you back on the 10th, June 10th, Wednesday, starting at 9.30 a.m.
So I will turn it now over to our committee counsel to swear in the witnesses for their testimony.
