Well, I haven't had a chance to look at the details of the council's proposal.

I know you have particular affection for DCWP, as do I, and the vote of confidence by the committee.
With respect to the executive budget, which I have looked at, we feel confident that with respect to the laws that the council passed, the new mandates, as you referenced, Madam Speaker, for our agency, that the 181
headcount that the executive budget authorized will be sufficient to meet our needs.

DCWP issue, well, let me just, before I move on from that, so you're saying that you do not need any additional funding beyond what is in the executive budget?
We always welcome more resources generally, and I know that the council is considering new laws, including with new responsibilities for DCWP, and I expect we'll have follow-up conversations about new needs there.
But with respect to the bills the council's passed and that are already being implemented, we worked really closely with OMB and City Hall and we feel we have what we need.
