CM Aldebol on hospital violence interruption program expansion

And I have a question about the violence interruption program.

It's been a phenomenal, successful program.

I've had the opportunity to meet with dedicated staff at the SUV program at Jacoby Hospital.

Are there plans to expand these programs?

You know, protect the funding for these programs.

And is this program going to go under Office of Community Safety?

We've now both expand them at the hospitals, as in the case of Jacoby, but also we're now creating one at Bellevue and one

I have not heard any intention to take them to a different office of community safety, but we would want to coordinate with them.

I mean, that's what they are, right?

I mean, they're ways of preventing violence using peers and violence prevention specialists.
