The state budget includes $18.8 million for state's Reconnect program, which covers the cost of tuition, fees, and book for community college students age 25 to 55 pursuing select associate

degrees in high-demand occupations, including nursing pathways into teaching, technology, and engineering.

The state budget includes a new Reconnect for foster scholar programs as well.

How much funding was allocated to the Reconnect for foster scholar programs?

250,000.

Will the Reconnect for Foster Scholar programs also have a limited age range and degree field?

If so, what are they?

We are in active conversations with the state on the details of the program.

And this will be an incredible opportunity also.

I know you've been a big advocate about this in the future.

I mean, it's an opportunity to create something from new.
