Okay, good morning everyone and welcome to the ninth day of the FY27 Executive Budget Hearings.

I'm Councilmember Linda Lee and today's hearing will begin with City University of New York followed by Department of Education and I'm very pleased to be joined by my colleague and chair of the Committee on Higher Education, Councilmember Rita Joseph.

And we have been joined by Council Members Wong, Lewis, Marano, and Marte.
