Chancellor on investments for vulnerable students
Samuels details executive budget investments including $7.2 million growing to $10 million for Every Child and Family is Known to support students in temporary housing with attendance, safety, and belonging.

This budget will expand support, resources, and access to caring adults via Every Child and Family is Known.
Thanks to a $7.2 million investment in FY 2027 that grows to
10 million in FY30.
This work will promote attendance, physical and emotional safety, mental health, and a sense of belonging.
