Commissioner Lee on DOF savings, property tax roll, and new administration initiatives

Third, DOF issued a final property tax roll reflecting a valuation of more than 1.2 million properties and supporting the city's single largest source of revenue.

We have also supported several major administration priorities since March.

Mayor Mamdani established the Mayor's Office of D-Def Protection, led by Peter White, the city's first office dedicated to coordinating prevention, outreach, enforcement, and victim support related to D-Def.

The new office will coordinate work of the City Records Office, the Sheriff's Office, and various other DOF divisions, while also providing new services and resources to vulnerable homeowners.
