Yesenia Mata

All right.

Yesenia Mata

Now we are going to open the hearing for public testimony.

Yesenia Mata

And I'll remind members of the public that this is a formal government proceeding and that

Yesenia Mata

Quorum shall be observed at all times.

Yesenia Mata

As such, members of the public shall remain silent at all times.

Yesenia Mata

And the witness table is reserved for people who wish to testify.

Yesenia Mata

No video recording or photography is allowed from the witness table.

Yesenia Mata

Further, members of the public may not present audio or video recordings as testimony, but may submit transcripts of such recordings to the Sergeant-at-Arms for inclusion in the hearing record.

Yesenia Mata

If you wish to speak at today's hearing and you haven't already done so, please fill out an appearance card, look like this, with the sergeant at arms, and wait to be recognized.

Yesenia Mata

When recognized, you will have three minutes to speak on today's hearing topic, programs and services for LGBTQ plus veterans.

Yesenia Mata

We'll hear all in-person testimony first and then turn to testimony on Zoom.

If you have a...

a written statement or additional written testimony you wish to submit for the record, please provide a copy of that testimony to the Sergeant at Arms, and I can assure you

Frank Morano

that not only does the committee staff read all that testimony and review it as we shape future hearing topics and future legislative topics, but I read it all, so feel free to submit it as you like.
