Chair Salaam questions OFCP on public presence and website
Chair Salaam notes OFCP's website was minimal and recently taken down, asking how the office engages without a public website. Executive Director Ali Atif explains OFCP operates under the Office of Mass Engagement and the public can contact them through OME's website.
I want to move towards the Mayor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Partnerships.
The Mayor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Partnerships was established in 2022 by the previous administration with the purpose of connecting city agencies with faith communities throughout New York City.
However, there is little public information about your work.
The office's previous website
was very minimal to begin with, and it was recently taken down.
My questions are, does the OFCP plan to establish a more public presence, and how does the OFCP currently engage with communities with
without having a public website.
Thank you so much, Chair Salam, and thank you for the entire committee for allowing me to participate on this panel with my colleagues.
My name is Ali Atif, and I'm the Executive Director at the Office of Faith-Based Partnerships, and thank you for that question.
The Office of Faith-Based Partnerships is under the auspice of the Office of Mass Engagement.
And so every New Yorker can get in contact with our office through the Office of Mass Engagement's website.
