Chair Salaam questions OFCP on staffing and resources
Chair Salaam asks about OFCP's structure, staff size, and hiring. Atif reports four staff including himself, planning a fifth hire, and expresses excitement about being part of the Office of Mass Engagement with the mayor's prioritization of faith partnerships.
Actually, that was second to last.
This is the last part.
Okay.
Have there been any changes to your office's structure since the start of the current administration?
And how many dedicated staff does OFCP have?
Are you currently hiring?
And do you feel your resources are adequate in order to successfully complete your goals?
Thank you so much for those questions.
I hope I asked through all of them, and if I don't, please let me know.
We currently have three staff members, four including myself.
We are looking to have a fourth in the summer, and we are actively hiring for a fifth.
Could you ask the follow-up question?
Yes.
Well, you did say you were currently hiring, so that's probably a yes.
Do you feel your resources are adequate in order to successfully complete your goals?
Yes, we are really excited to be part of the Office of Mass Engagement.
The office is incredibly committed to faith partnerships.
This office is something that
The mayor has prioritized, and as the executive director of this office, I'm dedicated to make sure that faith partnerships is part of every aspect of this mayoralty.
Thank you.
I'm going to pass it to my colleagues for their questions.
If you have any.
I'm going to start with Darlene.
