OPHC Director Ramjatin: Unity in the Community 7 on 7 initiative

New York City Council · Jun 23, 2026 · starts 0:11:04 · 1 min 49 sec

Ramjatin describes the 7 on 7 initiative along Roosevelt Avenue in Queens, created during heightened community tension over street vending and quality of life concerns. The program brought together East Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian, Latino, and LGBTQIA+ communities connected by the 7 train corridor to build unity and belonging.
