Hudson questions on HASA client LGBTQ+ identification
Hudson asks what percent of HASA clients identify as LGBTQ+. John Rojas reports DSS does not collect sexual orientation data but does collect transgender/non-binary data, with about 5% (approximately 1,800 clients) identifying as TGNC.
I'd like to shift to HASA.
Does HRA know what percent of HASA clients also identify as LGBTQIA plus?
We don't collect data on sexual orientation, though.
We do collect data on transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conformance.
That is 5%, about 1,800 or so clients identify as transgender, gender non-conforming, or non-binary.
Sorry, 5% of 1,800 or 5% is equivalent to 1,800?
Is equivalent to 1,800 or so.
Okay.
Of the total HASA caseload.
Got it.
Thank you.
