What I can say is DLU at this juncture is the highest staffing level of all time.
DLU has been in existence since 2021.
NYPD implemented DLU at its own volition preemptively to essentially assist and facilitate with, as the chief judge said, right, onerous discovery laws
with the hopes of facilitating compliance and assisting with a more expeditious case processing mechanism.
You know, the police department is grateful for the district attorney's acknowledgement of just how beneficial the DLUs are.
The DLU staffing right now, you know, is contingent, or rather the caseload is contingent on staffing.
