Chair Abreu introduces Resolution 143A on unlimited MTA transfers
Councilmember Shaun Abreu, Majority Leader and committee chair, opens the hearing and introduces Resolution 143A, sponsored by Councilmember Riley, which calls on the State Legislature and Governor to enact unlimited transfers within the two-hour fare window for pay-per-ride MTA users.

At today's hearing, the committee will vote on proposed Resolution No.
143A, sponsored by Councilmember Riley, which calls on the New York State Legislature to pass and the New York State Governor to sign
legislation that would create unlimited transfers within the two-hour period of paying the MTA subway or bus fare for pay-per-ride users.
