Thomas-Henry questions DOT on interagency coordination for Intro 845
Thomas-Henry asks what interagency coordination would be needed to implement the bill. Dean explains DOT may need to coordinate with Con Edison for power, manage trenching and construction, and work with the MTA when work is near transit infrastructure columns.
Next question as it pertains to 845.
What interagency coordination would be required to implement this bill?
We, again, it depends in each location what we find.
If we find there's a need for additional lighting,
If we can't, for instance, add to existing onto existing poles, we might need to work with Con Ed if there needs to be more power provided.
And then we would have to coordinate on construction if there's additional trenching required.
We'd have to go through the normal process to make sure we know what else is under under the street there.
And also we would have to.
If any of the trenching or other work was near any of the transit infrastructure, the columns for the overhead infrastructure, we would have to coordinate closely with them.
MTA on that as well.
Okay.
