Brewer on restoring stickers, camera alternative, and acknowledgments
Brewer argues for restoring stickers to improve compliance, notes she would prefer cameras on sanitation sweepers if Albany passed enabling legislation, thanks Speaker Menon, Chair Sanchez, DSNY leadership, and her staff, and closes by urging New Yorkers to move their cars.
I have to say,
to say would have been great if the state passed the cameras on the sanitation sweepers.
Norman Stysel, a former member of the commissioner of sanitation, wrote in the Daily News yesterday that's what he would prefer, but it did not happen.
We need the stickers.

And New York's strongest for their vocal support of this legislation.
They've already started making stickers and their tireless efforts to keep our city clean.
I know some people don't like this.
What I say is tell me another way to move those damn cars.
And I also say that if the Albany finally passes the cameras whenever, then this would only be for the most egregious cars.
You don't pay extra for a sticker.
You just can't get the damn thing off.
And so you will be targeted as you did not move your car.
