CM Felder thanks chair, praises project as 'holy work' for community
Councilmember Simcha Felder thanks Chair Louis for her dedication, praises Ed Powell's presence, and reflects on the toxicity surrounding religious projects. First of all, I wanted to thank the chair.
For those of you that normally don't spend that much time here
at 250 Broadway, I just want you to, number one, to be aware that the chair puts her heart and soul into the work she does.
I'm not suggesting that anyone else doesn't, but it is wonderful to see someone that's in government do the work that she does.
And of course,
Chair Ed Powell, I would just say I know for many, many years, I don't want to degrade in any way anyone else that's here, but if he was here alone
and he was in favor of this project,
It should be done because anyone that knows him knows what type of person
