CM Santosuosso questions 32BJ union engagement for building services

The other thing that we discussed most recently was, I believe 32BJ is in your existing building on site.

Is it your intent to engage with 32BJ again for building services on this proposed development?

Well, Kayla, they told me that they would be here supporting us today.

I was speaking to John Santos, and he agreed.

And we're working on the agreement.

My attorney was not available yesterday.

He had personal matters to attend to, and he's working with their counsel.

But we're all set to sign up with them.

Just a couple of things in the agreement have to be straightened out to make it equitable to both parties.

And they promised me their support.

And I don't know if they're here or not.

If they are, they should just announce themselves.

because they told me that they would be at this meeting to support the new building that's going to go up if everyone approves of it.

Yeah.
