Carl Weisbroad Testifies on Commission Recommendations
Carl Weisbroad, chair of the Quadrennial Advisory Commission, thanks the committee for embracing the commission's recommendations and emphasizes the importance of prospective salary increases for future councils.

I'm just really here to thank you for embracing our recommendations.
I just want to stress one particular recommendation, which is the importance of the council and the mayor making recommendations on compensation for the following council.
Than the one that makes the recommendations.
So it was a very important recommendation of ours.
We, I hope, created an incentive for the mayor to call a commission so that we won't go through the inordinate and unconscionable, really,
10-year gaps between one recommendation for compensation and the next.
And with that, I just wanted to thank you, and I have no further statements.
