It's typical of block fronts on both sides of Northern Boulevard, mostly commercial uses with local retail, and then that low density residential context is off the corridor on the mid blocks.
The site itself is on the corner of
Northern and 158th Street, the adjacent property that's included in the rezoning area along Northern Boulevard, wrapping 159th, is the Galaxy Plaza Shopping Center, a
multi-level commercial shopping center with, I believe, upwards of two dozen small business tenants.
The Dar al-Taqwa Islamic Center is located just to the south of the Galaxy Plaza Shopping Center along 159th Street, which is a community facility use.
