Speaker Menin: Scoop Act to expand dog waste management

Shifting gears towards today's legislation, and perhaps on a slightly lighter note, we are so excited to pass the Scoop Act today.

This package of bills will expand access to dog waste bags, launch a pilot program to compost waste collected from dog runs, establish a public education campaign, and strengthen our enforcement of these rules.

This is about creating safer and cleaner streets and parks for residents and furry friends alike.
