Menin introduces Intro 935A by Council Member Feliz, requiring NYPD to report weekly on confirmed firearm discharges including date, time, location, and circumstances.

I also want to mention we've been joined by our majority whip, Camilla Hanks, and Councilmember Pierina Sanchez.

So now, introduction 935A, sponsored by Councilmember Oswald-Feliz, would require the NYPD to report on the number of confirmed firearm discharges in the city on a weekly basis.

The NYPD would be required to report the date.

The time, the location of each firearm discharge, as well as a description of the circumstances of the discharge.
