Christopher Leon Johnson testifies against tax as anti-capitalist

Yeah, hello.

My name is Christopher Leon Johnson.

I oppose the rollout of the peer tax.

Let me just clear that this tax is nothing but to make sure that these corrupt nonprofits and organizations like the Working Families Party and DSA keep on getting paid.

We have a mayor that is penalizing success.

And that's not right.

If you work your butt off, you deserve every fruit of your labor.

This is a mayor that does not believe that people that are successful should reap the rewards of their success.

The problem with these organizations that was outside City Hall Park this afternoon is that they're professional parasites.

They're professional leeches.

They're professional grifters that only care about getting paid through donations.

And they don't know, they don't understand about doing real work to get a paycheck.

They just believe in stealing, stealing, stealing.

So as I said before, this is none but a scam done by these nonprofits and the DSA just to line their pocket.

This doesn't affect a person that's on Section 8.

That doesn't affect the person that's on food stamps.

It doesn't benefit them.

At the end of the day, that's the only way for it, no matter what.

Even if this tax was not implemented, EBT and Section 8 will always be supplied because that's a political suicide for any politician in New York City.

So no matter what.

But this is just not a scam.

And I shame on the city council for supporting this tax.

And I appreciate every member of the city council that is opposed to this tax.

And like I said before, this tax should not be implemented.

I hope that in a high court that they say that this tax unconstitutional.

It's a real unconstitutional tax that penalizes people.

And it really hurts people from really doing business with the city.

Because why do you want to own two, three homes where you'd be taxed to hell for owning two, three homes?

Like I said before, if I'm successful, I deserve to be able to buy two, three cars.

If I'm successful, I'm able to buy two, three phones.

What's next?

I'm being penalized for having two, three phones.

This is ridiculous.

We have a mayor and these nonprofits like WP and DSA just jealous and salty at people who are just making money, who are just mad at the next person.

They pocket watch, and that's what they're doing.

They need to stop pocket watching.

And shame on the city council for allowing the pocket watch to happen.

And a lot of these guys, they're not men because men don't pocket watch.

And that's what needs to stop happening in 2026 is that this would be the anti-pocket watching year in this administration.

But this administration is so worried about pocket watching instead of finding a way to line the pockets of people directly.

And just because you're part of, just because a nonprofit is lining their pocket doesn't mean that your pocket is ineffective.

So this is ridiculous, man.

I don't like it at all.

I'm disgusted by this whole process.

I do not support this at all.

I guess I believe in a free capitalist commerce.

If you work, you get.

You work, you eat.

Like the Bible said, I know a lot of people don't believe in the Bible, a man don't work, a man don't eat.

And that's the problem with the cities that they award and lazy people.

They want to award and lazy people while penalizing people that bust their butt and do the work to get food.
