289 Kent Avenue rezoning hearing opens

Being there are no members of the public who wish to testify regarding pre-considered LUs relating to Park Avenue, Brooklyn, residential mixed-use rezoning proposal, the public hearing is now closed and these items are now laid over.

I will now open the hearing on the pre-considered LUs regarding 289 Kent Avenue, a mixed-use residential rezoning proposal in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and Councilmember Wrestler's District.

The applicant is seeking a rezoning from a manufacturing M3-1 district to a special.

Mixed-use M1-3A R7X district and a manufacturing M1-

to a district to develop a mixed-use residential building that would have 278 apartments.

Mandatory inclusionary housing would be mapped as part of this application, which would require between 70 to 83 of the apartments to be permanently affordable.
