Speaker Menin outlines land use items for vote: 47-03 108th Street and 200 Kent Avenue rezonings
Menin describes two land use items: the 47-03 108th Street rezoning in Thomas-Henry's district (119 units, 30 affordable, modified to R7D) and the 200 Kent Avenue rezoning in Restler's district (143 units, 36 affordable, modified to strike MIH Option 2).
Now we're going to move on to our stated agenda.
First, we'll vote on the following land use items.
47-03 108th Street rezoning will facilitate the development of a new mixed-use building with approximately 119
dwelling units, 30 of which will be permanently affordable under MIH Option 1, as well as retail and community facility space in Councilmember Shanel-Thomas-Henry's district.
The Council has modified this application to rezone to an R7D district rather than an R7X.
200 Kent Avenue rezoning will facilitate the conversion and enlargement of an existing five-story commercial building into a mixed-use development with 143 housing units, 36 of which will be affordable under MIH in Councilmember Lincoln-Restler's district.
The Council has modified this application to strike MIH option 2.
