Chair Sanchez introduces new committee counsel Samia Schell
Sanchez announces that former committee counsel Morgan Barrett has moved on and introduces Samia Schell as the new committee counsel, asking for a round of applause. He also notes Councilmember Santosuosso has arrived.
For those that haven't been to my committee before, the way that I like to do it is I start with some questions and then I pass it off to my colleagues and we bounce it around so it doesn't get drawl, hopefully.
But before we get started, I really want to give a shout out to someone that is new that is sitting next to me.
As you can see, my former committee counsel, Morgan Barrett, has moved on.
And so I want everyone to give a huge, huge welcome and shout out to Samia Schell, who is the new committee counsel for this committee.
We are so excited to have her.
So please give a round of applause to Samia.
There is a co-counsel, but when she comes and sits so that she can get her proper time in the spotlight.
