Chair Stevens acknowledges staff and swears in administration
Stevens thanks committee staff including Elizabeth Arts and Rie Okasawal, her District 16 office team, and acknowledges Councilmember Felder joining the hearing before turning to staff to swear in the administration panel.
Before we begin, I would like to thank the committee staff, including Senior Policy Analyst Elizabeth Arts, that's this young lady here, and Rie, how do you say her name?
Okasawal.
Okasawal.
I think I did a bit.
Okay.
For their hard work in preparing for this hearing, as well as my wonderful team in the District 16 office and...
But they're all serving my constituents back in District 16.
I'd like to acknowledge the council members who are joining me today, Councilmember Felder, who is here with us.
And with that, I will now turn it over to committee staff to swear in the administration.
Good afternoon.
We will now hear testimony from the administration.
Before we begin, I will administer the affirmation.
Panelists, please raise your right hand.
I will read the affirmation once, then call on each of you individually to respond.
Do you affirm to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth in front of this committee and to respond honestly to council member questions?
Thank you.
You can start whenever you like.
Yeah.
