Chair Stevens questions Regan on Cash with Care guaranteed income program

I just had a question around the cash for care that you guys mentioned.

And you said you got three million.

For this?

And was this the city council initiative or this was another initiative?

This was city council.

We, Covenant House got 1.5 million.

And then I believe the citywide investment was 3 million.

The whole investment was 3 million.

It was one year.

It was one year program.

So we just finished our final payment for all of the young people.

And it wasn't renewed.

It was not renewed.

Okay.

And you guys, and because, you know, I love a pilot because I'm always like, oh, we should have pilots, but then we should have other star dates.

And so you guys submitted the report around the feedback and all the positive reviews.

Correct.

And are looking to fight to add this to the next.

We would love to continue this.

Yes.

And do you know who the other providers were?

Not at the top of my head right now.

I'll find out.
