Christopher Leon Johnson accuses influencers of being paid through third-party vendors
Christopher Leon Johnson, a press credential holder, accuses Mr. Fingers and Uptown Voices of being paid through third-party agencies, says mayor's offices control the narrative and make creators delete videos, and argues the administration relies on influencers instead of real journalism.
Yeah, my name is Christopher Leon Johnson.
I'm a media press credential holder, 47360 as far as 2027.
Let me make this clear that both Mr.
Fingers and Uptown Voices are known liars.
Let me make this clear that they get paid through third-party agencies.
That's how they get paid.
The way it works in mayor's offices, they control the narrative.
If you ask a mayor a question they don't want to hear, they will not allow it to be asked to the point where they'll make you delete the videos.
Let me make this clear.
These guys are getting paid.
They won't admit it because if they start admitting to the people that they're getting paid, they lose all credibility.
They get paid through third-party vendors.
Let's keep that clear.
I want to say this right now.
The problem with this mayor administration is that they solely rely on influencers, and he doesn't understand that.
Room 9 controls City Hall.
Room 9 is the reason why he's the mayor.
They can easily turn on this guy and say, like, well, let's give him the Eric Adams heat, Andrew Cuomo heat, and he's
out of here as mayor.
But what needs to start going forward is that people like Mr.
Fingers need to be transparent to his people and tell them that he will never hold the mayor accountable.
I think that Mr.
Fingers is Mayor McDonough's little go-to Negro when it comes to pushing the narrative for the mayor's administration.
That's the facts.
You know, the problem with the city is that this mayor administration, this is an influencer.
Relied on administration instead of like real journalism and real journalism starts at room nine not with these fake influencers that
just hold an iPhone thinking that they know stuff about the city because they do little little little kiddie type tick-tock videos
going forward I think the city council needs to really should ask mr.
Fingers but everybody knew why he was busy because he didn't want to answer the hard questions that well how do you get yeah do you work with the third-party vendors that the city
hires to do the content with.
So going forward, thank you for having us here, Mrs.
Brewer.
And that's all I got to say.
But yeah, Mr.
Fingers is my Donnie's go-to Negro.
Take care.
Thank you very much.
Online, we've got Tim Fullerton.
