And I'm assuming that part of that was also performing targeted outreach in the areas where you saw spikes and surges.

That's right.

We have a community engagement team that we deploy in neighborhoods that are impacted.

They'll go out a few days of the week and canvas neighborhoods, give out know your rights information, talk to small businesses, and making sure that if anyone is one directly impacted, has information on how to access our immigration legal support hotline,

but also is equipped with know your rights information.

What do you do if you encounter ICE at work or at home?

I'll just add here, if I may, Chair, that MOIA has worked with our interagency partners.

So we are actively partnering with the Office of Mass Engagement, the Mayor's Office of Public Engagement, SBS, and DCWP to leverage some of their folks so we can have a larger reach around.

Every time I'm about to ask about if you need more resources, you tell me about all the resources that you implore to get the work done.

Because I'm assuming that when there is a surge and there's an increase of need for people to be out and actually reaching folks.

It's an all hands on deck moment.

And we're really grateful for our partners.

You know, one thing I think Lorena stopped short is of kind of sharing the impact that these partnerships are actually making.

You know, we've conducted just since March, since I joined, 30 canvassing events and days of actions across the five boroughs.

We've distributed over 8,000 printed materials and engaged 650 businesses.

And all of that work is not possible, one, without the incredible team at MOIA that I am fortunate to work with every day, but also that deep partnership with different parts of city government.
