Chair Encarnación commits to moving Intros 395 and 396
Chair Encarnación thanks the panel and notes she is now lead sponsor of Intros 395 and 396. She commits to moving them through the legislative process, working with advocates to strengthen the wording, and holding a hearing with DOC.
Thank you to all of you for, and some of you are part of conversations that we were talking about these three bills in particular, 209, 395, 396.
I am now the sponsor, lead sponsor for 395 and 396 and have committed to move it forward through the legislative process.
And I'm hoping to get this in front of DOC and have a hearing as soon as it goes through this process that I will continue.
And I'm committed to working with many of you to look at how we can strengthen the wording of those particular.
pieces of legislation and we'll see how we get to on the other side of that and I appreciate
you all meeting with me and also supplying me with some questions some of which I was able to get to today some of which I think are more appropriate to ask directly to DOC but I appreciate all of you for your testimony today thank you
