Garner closes testimony with thanks and commitment to more work
Garner acknowledges more work remains and thanks City Hall leadership, MOCS Director Kim Yu, and SBS Commissioner Mania. He says the program supports MWBE businesses, local economies, and economic justice citywide.
In closing, we certainly recognize that there's more work to be done.
Yet we remain appreciative of the opportunity to build on our progress, the leadership in City Hall, the dedication and competency of our oversight principals, Chief City
Procurement Officer and MOX Director Kim Yu and SBS Commissioner Mania
are the collective commitment of our city and our city-affiliated agencies and authorities whose efforts have been the driving force behind the city's MWB achievements.
Lastly, and just as importantly, we recognize the Council's overall support of the MWBE program.
Our program is supportive of MWBE businesses and local economies and promotes economic justice citywide.
