Restler calls first public panel and introduces MENA community witnesses
Restler calls up the first panel of public witnesses and apologizes for struggling with some names. He introduces Habiba Eraida, Rana Abduhamed, Ekram Arowamin, Bayadir Mohamed Osman, and Naima Tahir from the American Family Support Center.
I will now call up the first panel, and I'm going to actually just call up all five folks if they're here, if the Sergeant wouldn't mind bringing another chair up.
And I apologize, not everybody's handwriting is as legible as I might hope.
If I butcher your name, please forgive me.
I believe the first person is Habiba Eraida.
Rana Abduhamed.
Did I get that right?
I'm sorry, Rama.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm a terrible person.
I apologize.
Ekram.
I wrote, I'm screwing up.
Shit.
Kael, don't give me a hard time.
I'm struggling here.
Ekram Arowamin.
I'm sorry.
I'm trying here.
Bayadir Mohamed Osman and Naima Tahir from the American Family Support Center based in District 33.
Good to see you, Naima.
Wherever you are.
There you are.
Okay.
And you all feel free to testify in whatever order you are so moved.
