Daniel Ruzzo presents building massing and unit count
Daniel Ruzzo describes a six-story building with a five-story mass and setback sixth floor to minimize height. He notes 268 units, 67 affordable, and compares the scale to nearby 12- and 14-story buildings.
Hello, committee.
Thank you for your time today.
As Richard has just said, the proposal here shows a six-story building.
It is a five-story mass with a six-floor that sets back in order to minimize the height of the building and provide a more contextual envelope to the surrounding homes around us, which
existing are in the three-story world.
The Lindenwood Diner, which is just to the right of the red.
The red square that you see right there along Linden Boulevard has been replaced, and that has been replaced still under construction with 12- and 14-story buildings.
So we would be smaller, but we are trying to still be sensitive toward the rest of the scale that's surrounding us in the neighborhood.
To that end, the proposal here, as Richard has said, is for 268 units, 67 of which would be affordable.
