Chair Joseph acknowledges members, staff, and testimony procedures
Chair Joseph acknowledges Council Member Ariola on Zoom and thanks her chief of staff, policy staff, counsel, and analysts. She reminds witnesses to fill out slips, limits testimony to two minutes and member questions to five minutes, and says in-person witnesses will go before Zoom participants.
Now I want to acknowledge
Councilmember Areola on Zoom.
I also would like to thank Giovanni Piquant, my chief of staff, Ben Atkinson, my director of policy and budget,
Amita Kalawan, the committee's senior legislative counsel, Regina Paul, the committee's senior legislative policy analysis, and Ali Stouffer, the committee's financial analysis.
I would like to remind everyone who wish to testify in person today, you must fill out a witness slip, which is located on the desk of Sergeant and Arms near the entrance of this room.
Please fill out the slip, even if you have already registered in advance that you'll be testifying in person today.
To allow as many people as possible to testify, testimonies will be limited to two minutes per person, whether you're testifying in person or on Zoom.
I'm also going to ask my colleagues to limit their questions and comments to five minutes.
Please note that witnesses who are here in person will testify before those who are signing on the Zoom.
Now in accordance with the rules of the council, I have the committee council administer the affirmation to the witnesses.
