Emmy Liss introduces Deputy Chancellor Erica Phillips
Liss describes collaboration with NYC Public Schools' Division of Early Childhood Education. She introduces Erica Phillips as the new Deputy Chancellor for Early Childhood Education.
Together with our partners at the New York City Public Schools Division of Early Childhood Education, the Mayor's Office of Child Care and Early Childhood Education has been working closely on a number of initiatives and programs
toward the goal of delivering free, high-quality care and education for every child under five in New York City.
I'm thrilled to introduce my newest colleague, Erica Phillips, who recently joined the division as the new Deputy Chancellor for Early Childhood Education.
Deputy Chancellor Phillips brings decades of experience in early childhood education and has worked closely with child care providers who are serving multilingual children.
She will now share more background on the work that the Division of Early Childhood Education is doing to support multilingual learners, and we look forward to then taking your questions.
Thank you.
