New York City Council · Sep 30, 2026 · starts 0:06:27 · 23 sec

Thomas-Henry quotes Mayor Mamdani saying the World Cup belonged to deli owners, cab drivers, and line cooks. She says it is clear what New Yorkers did for the World Cup and asks what the World Cup did for New Yorkers.

Shanel Thomas-Henry

Mayor Momdani said today that the World Cup belonged to the deli owners, cab drivers, and line cooks who welcomed the world to New York.

Shanel Thomas-Henry
