Hankerson asks how Parks collaborates with other agencies
Hankerson asks what interagency collaboration looks like for permits. Cerrone says larger events involve site visits with NYPD, FDNY, DOHMH, DOB, and CECM, plus meetings on security, transportation, and promotion.
Thanks very much.
Thanks, sir.
Before I go to Councilmember Lee, I do want to just kind of...
Jump on that bandwagon really quickly and ask a couple of follow-up questions.
You mentioned that Parks Department has to collaborate with other city agencies oftentimes for permits.
What does that collaborative process look like between the agencies?
Thank you for that question, Councilmember.
What it looks like could change from time to time.
Generally, it's for the events that are going to be larger in scale, that will be over 500 people.
And what it looks like is a site visit with other agencies that are impacted.

citywide event coordination and management.
And that could be kind of like a series of meetings where we have one meeting that will focus on security, another meeting that will focus on transportation, how are we getting everybody there?
And of course, the MTA and DOT would be part of that.
Another meeting that would talk about how they're advertising and promoting the event.
And then there'll be subparts to that for
