Wong offers to identify unused fields for Parks review
Wong says he can provide information on soccer and softball fields that were reserved but unused. Cerrone agrees to work with his office and Ken Conyers to examine those fields.
And to be faced with what they consider a level of disrespect, I think is unacceptable for the city of New York, is unacceptable for the Parks Department.
And so I would love to, again, be part of the conversation to see how we can just do better, you know, in serving the people of this city.
With that, I want to turn it over to Councilmember Wong.
Thank you, Chair.
Today my question is regarding permits and organizations that booked fields and either they don't use them or they don't show up.
