Abreu asks if DOT has an estimate of how many Class 3 e-bikes are in the city, and Flynn says they don't have comprehensive numbers, only anecdotal data.

Do you have an estimate of how many Class 3 e-bikes there are and how did you arrive at this estimate?

No, we don't really have great numbers for that, for the reasons that Maddie mentioned.

Many of them are privately owned.

So we have, you know, mostly anecdotal, I would say, based on either DCWP's data with delivery workers or the crash reports we would get from NYPD.

But we don't have that type of comprehensive number.
