And of course, it remains critical that the city continues to upgrade its micromobility infrastructure to meet the needs of motorized devices, commercial riders, and all New Yorkers.
Today, we have a unique opportunity to bring all relevant parties together, our delivery workers, our recreational bikers, our retailers, our share system operators, our enforcement agencies, and our lawmakers.
I hope that we can have a frank and forthcoming conversation about existing challenges and where we need to go from here.
I also look forward to hearing testimony on the nearly two dozen pieces of legislation across the three committees.
