Okay, a few questions on mopeds.

How many illegal or unregistered mopeds has the NYPD seized so far?

This year and how do the numbers compare to the past few years?

I know you briefly touched on it earlier, but you just made it clear.

I did, and I just want to be careful with that because we don't make that distinction.

I'll give you the numbers, but we don't do illegal versus non-street, I mean, legal versus non-street device.

We just, you know, when we seize, we seize because it's an e-bike, it's a moped, it's a stand-up scooter, it's a motorcycle, that type of thing.

So there's no distinction that's made.

Okay, so how many this year compared to the previous two years?

So for all the motorized devices, okay.

So for motorcycles this year, year-to-date 26, 46, 55.

Urine, 25, 55, 43.

For mopeds, 10,000, 080.

Urine 25, 14, 120.

For e-bikes, 1206 versus 957.

Stand-up scooters for this year, 199.

Total two-wheel device seizures, 16,140.

Talk to us about some of the operations that the police department has in place to help remove illegal mopeds from our communities or mopeds that might be violating our rules.

I know it could be challenging.

I'm sure all of us have seen videos.

They're pulled over and they take off on police officers.

Something that I know you really like is ghost bed operations.

I could talk about that.

That's one of the ways that we actually are able to...

You know, attack the problem of illegal mopeds.

So I'll just talk about ghost plate operations real quick, if that's okay.

So with Ghostbait operations, just as it pertains to the tool with device world, we have conducted 29 joint operations this year.

Again, this is the multi-agency part of it.

418 arrests, 17,730 summonses issued.

More importantly, 63 motorcycles and moped seizures in 2026 year to date.

So that's just one way besides the point of sale seizures and also ghostweight operations, especially for mopeds and motorcycles and mopeds.
