Farías questions Kavita Mehra on public health framing
Farías asks what more the city could do. Mehra says gender-based violence is the leading public health issue in the city and should be treated as preventable and solvable, with culturally responsive organizations better resourced amid federal immigration pressures.
I don't have any questions.
If there's anything, as I stated before, as a provider in the city of New York, if there are items that you think are working, that are helpful, I know you provided testimony.
Obviously, we want you folks at the table when decisions like this are made.
Of course.
But if there's anything that the city could be doing more of, I know some folks mentioned prior funding is always more supportive, any of the pots of funds, things like that, that we can take back would be helpful.
