Council Member Shulman warns of reduced council input under charter changes
Shulman expands on Council Member Carr's remarks, explaining that city charter proposals voted on last year and up for a vote in November will exclude the City Council from input on certain projects, limiting future negotiations.
I just want to expand a little bit for a second on Councilmember Carr's remarks.
What he meant is that the city council, because of proposals that were done last year that were voted on in the city charter and that are up for
a vote this November, the city council will be excluded from certain projects to have any input on.
So I just want folks to be aware of that so that we're trying to negotiate as much as we can, but it's going to be less and less.
So I just want that to be known.
Okay, thank you.
