Council Member Santosuosso asks about full day/year plan
Santosuosso asks if future 2K seats will remain full day, full year. Liss says full day, full year is the default, with options for school day based on community need.
Councilmember Santis-Woso, 2K's future number one fan, hopefully.
Thank you both for your testimony and for your work.
I hope I have quick questions.
First, for future 2K seats, so starting next year and beyond, is the plan still full day, full year?
Our plan is to continue with full day, full year as the default model, but with the option for providers based on their community need to opt into a school day and year program if that better fits their community.
And I'm sorry if you said this and I didn't write it down.
What percentage was full day, full year and what percentage was school?
The majority are full day, full year.
We'll have those final figures when we release the data.
Okay, you did say that.
I'm sorry about that.
