Speaker Menin Commemorates October 7th Anniversary

Yesterday marked three years since October 7th, the worst day in Israel's history and the deadliest attack on the Jewish state since its founding.
Jews across the world remember the terror of that morning.
They recalled the fear and the hatred it stoked, and we mourned the innocent, unfulfilled lives that were lost that way.
Over 1,200 lives that were lost by Hamas terrorists.
A few weeks ago, I was honored to meet with Nova Festival survivor Shalev Betan, as well as Yunus Al-Kanwari, the man who hid Shalev and his friends on his farm, saving dozens of lives.
They shared their truly remarkable stories, and may we continue to take in their message of showing compassion to all.
