Narcisse asks H&H about NYC Care metrics and enrollment
Narcisse asks whether H&H measures NYC Care's effect on avoidable emergency visits and how many New Yorkers are enrolled. Motzquist says H&H does not currently have data on that and will follow up with enrollment figures.
For some of the answers that I think we share some of the question, I thought I was getting more answers from you.
But New York City care.
At a previous hearing, H&N stated that it does not collect data regarding New York City care.
Do you know about New York City care?
Can you answer some of my questions?
I think I did before, but I can provide some more feedback if you'd like.
Okay, I'll try to ask if you don't know it, you don't have the answer, we'll go back.
At a previous hearing, HNA stated that it does not collect data regarding New York City Care's effect on emergency department utilization.
Has HNA since developed metrics to measure whether New York City Care is reducing avoidable emergency room visits?
At this point, we do not, unfortunately, have the data on that.
I know that we are involved with financial counselors getting patients enrolled in New York City Care for preventive care, primary care, and virtual express care.
But at this point in time, we don't have data to see how it's decreased emergency department visits.
Okay.
How many New Yorkers are currently enrolled in New York City Care, and how does that compare with enrollment levels two years ago?
That is a great question.
I unfortunately don't have that data for me, but I'll get it to you.
So should I stop on that?
Yes.
And then we can send you the questions?
Absolutely.
Okay.
Thank you.
Fair enough.
Because this is a fun thing, because we're supposed to...
To talk to each other and to know exactly where we're going, how can we help?
And I mean, I met people that say that when they come here this year, we ask a lot of tough questions.
It's not about us.
It's about what can we do together.
I hope that because I heard it from a DM1.
But it's not for that.
It's just making sure that we have to be responsible for New Yorkers and we all in it together.
We just have to get through it.
