Chair thanks Commissioner and notes members present before questions
Brooks-Powers thanks Goodwin for submitting testimony in time and says it helped her prepare questions. She acknowledges that Council Members Restler and Feliz have joined the hearing.
Thank you, Commissioner.
And I just want to publicly thank you for getting your testimony to me in time.
While it was not the 24, 48 hours I was looking for, it still counts.
So I was able to read your testimony while I was on the train in today.
And I feel like it's helpful because it helps me to reconfigure the questions we're going to ask to make sure that the conversation is meaningful.
So I appreciate that, and I want to acknowledge the effort.
I'm going to also acknowledge that we've now been joined by council members, Ressler and Felice as well.
And we'll just jump into the questions.
