Banks asks about OAC provider status and NYCHA coordination

New York City Council · Oct 27, 2026 · starts 0:59:17 · 40 sec

Banks asks about the specific status of OACs and providers and how it affects NYCHA's work with them. Trimble says NYCHA works closely with NYC Aging and providers to coordinate repair and programming issues. Staff meet regularly, and information is shared through multiple channels.

Chris Banks

What is the specific status of the OACs and the OAC providers, and how does this affect the way NYCHA works with the OACs on their property?

Eva Trimble

So as we've been explaining, we work very closely in coordination with NYC Aging, as well as the providers, to coordinate any type of repair issues or certain programming issues.

Eva Trimble

Our staff meet regularly with NYC Aging, and with the providers, they speak to NYC Aging as well as they are contracted by NYC Aging.

Eva Trimble

So there are multiple ways that information is shared.
